HWL Alumni consist of many big names, such as the leading Barrister in Sydney, who is now employed as a Federal Circuit Court Judge. Alexander Sandy Street SC, is the son of Sir Laurence Street AC, KCMG, QC, a former NSW Supreme Court Chief Justice. He was working as a lawyer at HWL Ebsworth, before he was called to the bar. Other notable addition is the former Dean of Sydney Law School Professor Ron McCallum AO, who took on the job of a consultant at the firm in 2010. Alan Rose AO, works as a consultant at the firm, and before joining the firm she served as the Secretary to the AGD (Attorney General’s Department), and was President of Australian Law Reform Commission.
